Meditations

As you may remember, Manna was the name for the "bread from Heaven" that God miraculously provided for the Israelites as they wandered in the desert (see Exodus 16:4). They had to gather fresh Manna every morning.

It's a great idea for us to "gather" fresh "bread" every morning too ... Jesus called Himself the Bread of Life for a reason, you know :)

Ecclesiastes 11:1. encourages us to "cast our bread upon the water". So, that is what I desire to do, cast some of the "bread" that God has given me upon the water. It is my prayer that God uses these meditations, this "bread", to minister to you and to nourish you own hungry heart.

The "Manna Blog" is an ongoing list of good words which I've shared over the past few years as time has permitted. Most of these writings are more brief (although there are a few that were more extensive). Over the years I have written many devotionals and meditations, which were entitled originally entitled the "Listening with Lisa" files. The archives of these writings are listed by category, and alphabetically within those groupings. It is my prayer that the Lord will minister to you and bring you closer to Him as you read.
